DiStiphone was founded in 2009 in Catania, from a personal passion for the world of technology and a name I've always had: Di Stefano. The brand's name comes from my surname. At first, DiStiphone was more of a dream than a fully-fledged company, but the vision was clear from the start: to offer a more human, direct, and transparent way of experiencing technology. The real turning point came in 2018, when, together with a partner, we decided to open the first physical store in Catania. After years of hard work, small steps, experimentation, and a lot of determination, a real space is finally taking shape, where the relationship with the customer isn't just through a screen but through direct contact, listening, and advice. Not just a store, but a place to build trust. In 2019, we opened a second location in the same city. But a few months later, the world changed. The pandemic forced us to close that second store.
